Book Sale Rules

We love polite and courteous book dealers! Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas! Please note our Book Sale rules. We want everyone to have a great, fun, and pleasant experience at our sale.

Book Scanning:

Book scanning is permitted at the sale tables only. Books are not to be placed in a shopping cart, box, bag or crate or taken to another area for the purpose of scanning. This really is unfair to others and you will ask to leave the sale.

No Book Hoarding:

Books from sale tables may not be removed or moved to any other location(s), including your shopping cart or other receptacle for the purpose of hoarding. This again really is unfair to others and you will ask to leave the sale.

Book Hold Area:

As your cart or receptacle fills please take your selections to our Book Hold and a volunteer will put your name on your box (s) to hold until you check out Please do not block the checkout lines by bringing partial purchases to the cashier for handling. Please do not leave your selections on the floor, covered with a sheet/blanket or in a cart or other receptacles. Doing so may prove hazardous to other shoppers.

Antiquarian/Collectable/Exceptional Book Section:

These books include rare and collectable books, books that are unique or in pristine condition, books or magazines in sets. The customer may not remove these items from the Collectable/Antiquarian Section. A volunteer will take the item to the main cashier table where you may purchase it along with your other items when you are ready to check out.

Free and Open Access:

All customers are to have free and open access to all sale tables at all times. No one may claim any sale table or parts of sale tables as their exclusive domain. Violators will be asked to leave the sale.

Food and Drinks:

No food or drink is allowed inside the sale area. Who wants to buy sticky books?

Under Table Boxes:

Contents under the tables may be examined as long as the contents are replaced and the boxes are re-positioned so they do not present a hazard to other customers.

We want all of our customers to have an enjoyable experience. Rudeness will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone violating these rules.
